Get ready to take off and appreciate the enigmatic geoglyphs of Nazca in all their magnitude! Our plane will takeoff from the local airport and will rise to the appropriate height to see the famous figures drawn in the sand. Those are the Nazca Lines! These are nearly 800 large-scale geoglyphs that adorn the desert sands with their representations of animals, plants, and anthropomorphic characters. From above we can distinguish the hummingbird, the condor, the pelican, the monkey, and the spider, which are some of the largest and most representative figures of the pampas. Its origin is a mystery, as is its function. What is known is that they were drawn between the years 500 BC. C. and 500 AD. C. and thanks to its privileged location, little rain and the care work carried out by archaeologist María Reiche, this World Heritage Site remains visible today.

We continue on to the Ballestas Islands, an impressive convergence between the desert and the sea. These three islands are a display of extraordinary monuments carved into rocks by the sea, as well as a diversity of wildlife including endemic and migratory species. The islands are home to mammals, such as sea lions, and 18 species of birds such as the Humboldt penguin, the red-footed cormorant, the guanay, among others. Finally, we will return to the dock, leaving behind this unique dream landscape.
